A facade with emphasis on water collection

this project purpose is concentrated on facade of a typical residential apartment in Esfahan, Iran. This specific facade is capable of collecting rain water in order to be refined and utilized by dwellers.

the initial idea of this system is from the rhythmic maneuvers of rain drops on leaves of plants in a rainy day . Due to their special order, the leaves of the plants lead the water droplets one after the other to the ground.
